Lead a Transformation in Children's Services

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to join our team as the Head of Adult Community Services. As a key member of our Corporate Parenting team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our Fostering and Children in Care services.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people. As the Head of Adult Community Services, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the quality of care and services for children in care, as well as promoting the interests of foster carers and the wider community.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a transformation plan to improve the quality of care and services for children in care
  • Work closely with foster carers, children, and young people to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including social workers, foster carers, and other professionals
  • Manage budgets of over £3m and lead on financial planning and management
  • Act as a deputy for the Service Director or Director of Children's and Young People's Services, providing leadership and support as needed

We offer a competitive salary of £75,834 to £92,244 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme and hybrid-working model.
