Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Plant Engineer, you will play a vital role in the success of our client's busy depot, responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of their company fleet of plant, including mechanical equipment ranging from Telehandlers to Dumpers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs on Plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Complete a range of servicing on dumpers, diggers, excavators, and other mechanical equipment to maintain their condition and extend their lifespan.
- Conduct thorough inspections of plant equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure that plant equipment is properly maintained and operated in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a workshop plant fitter, workshop plant engineer, plant engineer, tool fitter, test and run fitter, plant mechanic, or in a related engineering field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical equipment and plant maintenance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
