About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineering Lead to join our team at Teknikal Recruitment. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 2-3 maintenance technicians.

Your primary focus will be on overseeing and conducting preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance tasks. You will also be involved in attending breakdowns, electrical and mechanical fault finding on PLCs, motors, production lines, control panels, and conveyors.

In addition, you will participate in ongoing site projects and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as contribute to Health and Safety protocols and make recommendations for improvements where necessary.

To succeed in this role, you should have an apprenticeship qualification or equivalent, with a proven track record working as a Senior/Led Engineer in a manufacturing environment. Experience with high-speed processing machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, electrical fault finding, and control panels is highly desirable.

The salary for this position is approximately £45,000 - £47,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes benefits such as a company pension, employment sponsorship, on-site parking, and time off in lieu. If you are a motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineering Lead, please apply now.
