Exciting Opportunity for a Technician Assistant

Auto Windscreens, a leading automotive glazing company, is seeking a skilled Technician Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting our technicians in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist technicians with lifting windscreens that require two people
  • Carry out emergency temporary fix work
  • Conduct stone chip repairs on customers' vehicles
  • Collect and distribute products
  • Liaise closely with technicians, ADC Supervisor, and Area Manager through clear and timely communication
  • Maintain high standards in a liveried company van
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and via telephone
  • Able to demonstrate a good level of competence in planning and organizing own workload
  • Flexible approach to work demands
  • Proactive self-motivator and able to work on own initiative
