Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who has experience in managing wards and leading teams. As a Ward Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the ward, including staff management, patient care, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, psychologists, and occupational therapists.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote patient safety and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ward plans, including staffing, budgets, and quality improvement initiatives.

As a Ward Manager at Priory, you will receive comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in your role. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through our professional development programs.

The salary for this position is £47,375-£53,329 per annum, plus enhancements for working weekends, nights, and overtime. We also offer a £3000 welcome bonus, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a contributory pension scheme.
