We are currently looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at TeacherActive's partner school in Putney. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the school's dedicated teaching staff to support students with a range of SEND needs. Your role will involve assisting with day-to-day classroom activities, offering 1:1 support to children with individual learning plans, and helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

  1. Supporting students with SEND in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  2. Encouraging a positive, safe, and supportive environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to meet the needs of students with SEND.
  • Provide 1:1 support to children with individual learning plans.
  • Contribute to creating a nurturing environment that promotes student well-being and success.
What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant who has a passion for helping children achieve their potential. You will have experience working with children with SEND, particularly in a primary school setting.

  • An understanding of various SEND needs, such as ASD, ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties.
