Role Overview

We are recruiting a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to join our client school in Chiswick. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to a child with Autism, promoting their social and communicative development.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary school or with children, preferably as a teaching assistant, and a passion for working with children with special needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support for a child with Autism.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to adapt learning materials to meet the child's needs.
  • Monitor the child's progress and provide regular feedback to the class teacher.
  • Perform other teaching assistant duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a primary school or with children, preferably as a teaching assistant.
  • Experience supporting children with special needs/autism is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Passion for working with children.

Salary Details

The estimated salary for this role is £27,500 per annum, depending on experience.
