About the Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Brandon Trust, working with children and young people aged 14-25. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to develop independence skills and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Empower individuals to live the lives they want to lead, developing daily living skills and promoting independence.
  • Support individuals to access their communities for social activities, employment, training, or friendships.
  • Contribute to, develop, and implement individual care plans, ensuring effective communication with individuals, family members, and external professionals.
  • Maintain the health needs of individuals, including personal care and medication support.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills and a positive, patient approach.
  • Resilience and respect for individuals' differences.
  • Ability to build professional relationships and work well as part of a team.
  • Confident problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Full UK driving license is essential.
