Job Title: Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our production team and drive business growth.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, planning production and vehicle maintenance, and managing the production team and drivers. They will motivate personnel to create a high-performance culture, with clear standards and open communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the production process and ensure orders are made and dispatched on time in full (OTIF)
  • Manage and direct operational activities to ensure compliance with transport laws and regulations
  • Assess key performance indicators (KPI's) and take appropriate actions to ensure schedule, cost, safety, and quality goals are met
  • Manage and direct the production team and drivers
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in production planning and project management
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills - at least 3 years experience managing direct reports
  • CPC holder desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrates analytical understanding - Budget ownership and cost control
  • Leading health & safety and compliance audits and accreditations
  • Confident using a variety of Systems for both manufacturing and transport compliance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing situations
