About the Role

We're looking for an exceptional Assistant Manager to join our team at Loungers. As a key member of our management team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the high standards that make our lounges so special.

As Assistant Manager, you'll support the General Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and leading a high-performing team. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the lounge, including rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback.

What You'll Do
  • Support the General Manager in maintaining high standards across the team
  • Drive sales and customer engagement through effective sales building and labour forecasting
  • Lead a high-performing team, focusing on talent spotting, recruitment, and HR
  • Manage paperwork and reporting, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and NPS

What We're Looking For
  • Experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor in a restaurant, bar, cafe, or coffee shop environment
  • Proven track record of driving sales and customer engagement
  • Natural talent and passion for hospitality, with a flair for talent spotting and people management
  • Excellent literacy and attention to detail, with good communication skills and ability to build rapport and trust
  • Self-motivator with ability to work at pace with limited supervision, while adhering to pressure and timescales
  • Strong knowledge of best practice in sales building, sales and labour forecasts, paperwork and reporting, recruitment and HR, and NPS
