Role Overview

We are seeking responsible and caring individuals to support our children and young people in their daily lives as a Residential Childcare Practitioner on a casual basis.

About the Role
  • Support daily lives of children and young people, ensuring their safety, comfort, and health
  • Deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, and administer medication (where appropriate)
  • Take children to appointments and support outdoor activities

This role involves providing a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive. As part of a dedicated team, you will need to be calm, engaging, resilient, and motivated to deliver high-quality care.

A full training program is provided for this role. While previous experience is advantageous, it is not essential. What is important is your ability to work on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays, and be willing to sleep in as part of your shift.
