Job Title: Graduate Packaging Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Technologist to join our team in Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining packaging specifications, arranging ink matching and colour matching, and sampling components. They will also attend risk analysis meetings, pre-production meetings, and weekly NPD meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain packaging specifications for componentry and manufacturing processes.
  2. Arrange ink matching and colour matching of components.
  3. Develop new line forms.
  4. Sample components and arrange testing.
  5. Attend risk analysis, pre-production meetings, and weekly NPD meetings.
  6. Work with tight deadlines on critical paths, reporting to the Product Manager on progress.
  7. Collect information from suppliers on REACh, Packaging Regulations, and customer-specific requirements.
  8. Collaborate with external and internal contacts to develop product ranges.
  9. Assist with customer sealing process development.

Estimated salary is £17,425 (graduate starting salary), rising by £1000 after 6 months. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of packaging regulations and customer-specific requirements.
