Risk Engineering Role

The Risk Engineering team is responsible for providing robust metrics, data-driven insights, and effective technologies for risk management. As a member of this team, you'll work closely with various divisions around the firm and interact with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge technologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce technical debt.
  • Build scalable and reliable applications to support internal risk management and regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborate with business partners and front-line risk managers to understand business needs and develop process workflows.
  • Manage end-to-end systems development cycles, from requirements analysis to implementation and maintenance.
  • Lead talented software engineers and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a risk technology team, preferably in a bank or financial institution.
  • Experience with major relational/object databases and software development, including data structures, algorithms, and core programming concepts.
  • Comfortable working with multiple programming languages and comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interpret performance metrics and knowledge of SDLC.
