The LexisNexis Risk Solutions team is looking for a Fraud Risk Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will work with global data from the largest real-time fraud detection platform to optimise solutions for enterprise customers.

You will be part of a team of analysts using global data from the largest real-time fraud detection platform to optimise solutions for our enterprise customers.

About the Role

You will use your expertise in data analysis to investigate suspicious behaviour, providing new insights that lead to immediate real-world impact in the form of lower customer friction, reduced fraud losses, and increased customer profitability.

You will leverage a real-time platform analysing billions of transactions per month for some of the largest companies operating in Financial Services, Insurance, e-Commerce, and On-Demand Services. You will be continually collaborating with internal product and engineering teams, customer-facing account teams, and external business leaders and risk managers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conducting in-depth reviews of complex fraud cases, identifying trends and actionable insights, documenting findings, and making clear recommendations on how to mitigate risk.
  2. Using SQL and Python skills to increase customers' fraud capture while reducing false positives. Conducting offline analysis of customer data to expose patterns and statistically tune policies. Producing executive-level reports and owning the end-to-end delivery of recommendations by writing rules into the ThreatMetrix decision engine.
  3. Building dashboards & reports to track value delivered by the solution.
  4. Using attention to detail and ability to craft a story through data.
  5. Scoping, planning, and delivering customer-focused projects including root cause analysis, reports, dashboards, rule mining, and health checks.
  6. Collaborating with ThreatMetrix teams around the world to redefine best practices.

The estimated salary for this role is around $125,000 per year, based on industry standards and the level of experience required.
