Job Description

We are seeking a talented Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that products listed on our online marketplace comply with regulatory and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Onboarding Due Diligence: Conduct thorough checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for selected product categories during onboarding.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including verified sellers, to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Post-Live Monitoring: Continuously monitor live marketplace listings, removing non-compliant products as needed.
  • Investigations and Compliance: Investigate issues arising from customer complaints, reviews, and interactions with verified sellers, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Corrective Actions and Support: Assist with corrective actions and provide support to implement necessary changes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven background in product or regulatory compliance, with a solid understanding of consumer-focused legislation.
  • Familiarity with consumer products, preferably in the DIY and home improvement sector, and sound risk assessment principles.
