Medical Device Repair Technician

We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Repair Technician to join our team in a fixed-term contract at our Didcot office.
The primary role of this technician is to repair devices from the ResMed product range, providing technical support to customers and internal teams.
This onsite position is located at the ResMed UK office in Harwell within the Zephyr building and the UK technical services workshop.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform in-house diagnosis, servicing, repair, and testing of customer returned ResMed products/devices using established procedures.
- Perform maintenance, testing, and calibration of repaired products.
- Interpret data/information captured on devices for analysis, troubleshoot, and provide recommended resolutions.
- Prepare clear quotes and repair reports.
- Manage complaints via ResMed ERP tool, facilitating communication between local authorities and RCHU.
- Coordinate logistics for service devices: custom clearance paperwork.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Engineering degree in electronics or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of measurement units and electronic parts.
- Ease with computers: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Professional and effective communication skills, working as a team member.
- Customer-oriented and quality-minded, with autonomous and rigorous skills.
- Fluent English required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in medical device repairs.
- Experience working with hospitals and healthcare professionals.
- Strong knowledge and experience using an ERP system such as Kumavision or Oracle.
We offer a competitive salary, estimated around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
