Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Join BMS Performance as an Area Sales Manager and take on a challenging role that requires a strong consultative sales process and a proven track record of success in the engineering industry.

About the Role:

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for growing a number of close dealer partner accounts while bringing on new customers in the region. You will have autonomy on pricing, promotions, and rebates, which will put commercial decision-making firmly in your hands.

You will also have the independence to target end-users as you see fit, depending on the applications of your product groupings. This could include fabricators, automotive manufacturers, and foundries, among others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow revenue and market share in the region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer partners and end-users
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and dealer partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with the technical area manager to provide engineering assistance and support
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development
  • Strong consultative sales process and ability to build relationships with customers and dealer partners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong technical knowledge of power tools and engineering industry
