About the Role
  • To manage a caseload of foster carers and provide regular supervision and support, or to recruit and assess foster carers as required.
  • To ensure that foster carers have access to necessary training and development opportunities, enabling them to meet diverse needs of looked-after children.
  • To deliver Skills to Foster courses regularly.
  • To adhere to financial processes, minimizing costs and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • To maintain accurate electronic case file records in line with the Council's recording policy and statutory requirements.
  • To participate in service development projects and initiatives.
  • To contribute to the service duty rota as needed.
  • To perform all accountabilities in accordance with the Council's Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
