We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Support Professional to join our team at Aspire People. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners who require additional support and guidance.

">About the Role

This full-time position involves providing support to teachers in planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons, with a focus on students with Social and Emotional Mental Health needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, educational psychologists, and other support staff.
  • Providing emotional support to students, creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where they feel safe, valued, and supported emotionally.
  • Adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, tailoring approaches to their specific challenges and abilities.
  • Implementing effective behavior management techniques, maintaining a calm and positive atmosphere in the classroom.

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young learners. Experience working with students who have Social and Emotional Mental Health challenges is highly desirable.

The salary for this position is £90-120 per day, making it an attractive offer for those looking to work in education.
