Key Responsibilities:
- Support class teachers with the delivery of activities and lessons
- Work collaboratively with class teachers to create a safe and supportive learning environment
- Provide individualized support to pupils who require additional help
- Assist pupils with special educational needs and adapt activities to meet their requirements
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, prioritizing safeguarding and pupil well-being
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
Requirements:
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Relevant experience in childcare, education, or a supportive role
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices
- Any relevant teaching assistant qualifications (L1, 2, or 3)
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
