About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Connex Education. As a 1-1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a school setting.

Your key responsibilities will include providing individualized support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements
  • Minimum Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent UK educational qualification
  • Previous experience working in education is essential
  • Commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
  • Understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education
