About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to support a gentleman with an acquired brain injury in the comfort of his own home.
The ideal candidate will have a great sense of humour and be able to engage with the client in various activities, such as going for walks, watching TV, and playing games.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with clinical interventions, including PEG feeds and catheter care
- Administer medication as required
- Plan and participate in activities and days out with the client
- Support the client with mobility and transportation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care, involving personal care
- Full UK driving license and access to a car
- Minimum commitment of 2 x 12 hour shifts per week
- Right to work in the UK
