Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Data Centre Shift Technician to join our team at a state-of-the-art Data Centre in Hertfordshire. As a key member of our Critical team, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of Single & three-phase power, UPS, Power Generators, lighting, HVAC plant, and air conditioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Data Centre
  • Respond to electrical faults and perform repairs as necessary
  • Work collaboratively with the Data Hosting Company to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Contribute to the development of the Data Centre's electrical infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Full electrical City & Guilds qualification or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience of covering planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
