Children's Nurse Job Opportunity
Spire Gatwick Park, a leading private hospital group, seeks an experienced Clinical Children's Nurse to join our team in the Children and Young People's department.
The successful candidate will work on an ad-hoc basis, providing flexible care to our young patients. As a key member of our team, you will support in assessing patients' health and well-being, delivering care that meets individual needs, and promoting best practice in health and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
- Deliver care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs.
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information.
- Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
- Assist in maintaining and developing services.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with no restriction on NMC PIN.
- Experience of working on a children's ward.
- Ability to work in teams with minimum supervision.
- Child Protection level 3 training.
- Paediatric Resus Training.
- EPALS or equivalent.
Working Arrangements:
Ad-hoc shifts, across various days/hours as and when required.
