Job Title: Behaviour Change Support Worker

This role is a critical part of our team at FearFree, where we strive to create a safe and supportive environment for individuals to address their abusive behaviour and work towards positive change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and identify the risks and needs of individuals who are abusive in a relationship or other domestic setting, using evidence-based risk identification checklists.
  • Develop personalized risk assessments and safety plans for each service user, working closely with key agencies to ensure coordinated support.
  • Advocate for individuals who wish to address their abusive behaviour, providing emotional and practical support, and connecting them with relevant services and resources.
  • Support clients in recognizing the abusive behaviour and its impact on their families, and assist them in developing healthy patterns of behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to address the impact of abusive behaviour on victims and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Contribute to effective team working, including cover for other team members' holidays and sickness, and participate in regular case reviews to ensure high standards of service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work with highly confidential information and maintain the security of sensitive personal data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing priorities and requirements.
