**Job Title:** Specialist Graduate Teaching Assistant - SEND Schools

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to work with children in SEND Schools with behavioural and mental health needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work with children on a 1 to 1 basis to support their learning and development.
  • Assist teachers in the classroom and provide additional support to pupils with additional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of each child.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological theories, research methodologies, and ethical practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software or tools for data analysis or research purposes.
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance, or willingness to undergo the process.
