Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Head and Neck Cancer Physician to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing radiotherapy and systemic therapy for patients with head & neck tumours, working alongside the Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Clinical Trials Nurses and two Specialist Therapy Radiographers.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality patient care, delivering radiotherapy and systemic therapy for patients with head & neck tumours
  2. Support the weekly Multidisciplinary Team meetings (MDTs) to discuss patient cases and plan treatment
  3. Work closely with the team to develop and future-proof services, including state-of-the-art radiotherapy and precision medicine services
  4. Contribute to clinical research and take advantage of world-leading scientific advances being made on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus

Requirements:

You must be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Clinical Oncology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview.
