Reablement Support Worker

The Reablement Support Worker will be part of the Wigan Reablement Team, providing integrated, multidisciplinary programmes of Reablement across the borough. The role is a deeply rewarding position that supports residents of the borough back into their own homes.
The Reablement service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and this role can exceed normal hours of work in line with the service needs. You will work every other weekend between the hours of 08:00am through to 22:00pm.
About YouYou must be creative and self-motivating with a strong customer care ethic. You will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and the value of promoting independence.
You will be providing support from the Reablement service in the person's home, using an asset-based approach to promote independence, helping people to remain within their own homes and also connect within their communities to enhance their well-being.
