Reablement Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Reablement Officer to join our team at Wigan Council. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting residents of the borough to regain their independence and confidence in their own homes.

As a Reablement Officer, you will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and reviewing Reablement programmes, including equipment and adaptations. You will work closely with our team to take referrals, provide support, and promote independence among our service users.

We are looking for an individual who is creative, self-motivated, and has a strong customer care ethic. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

You will be required to hold a current valid driving licence and be able to travel as required to meet the needs of the service. A recognised certificate in Trusted Assessor or willingness to obtain is also essential.
