Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Reconciliations Assistant to join our team at Spicerhaart. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing the company's expenses/invoices in line with company policy and legislative requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the smooth running of the company's Accounts Payable and Expenses function
- Ensure expenses/invoices are correctly authorised in line with company policy
- Check and code employee expense claims/invoices
- Communicate with employees to enforce company policy
- Input invoices/expenses on the system
- Understand and resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier queries
- Use Excel spreadsheets for importing multi-site invoices
- Manage multiple mailboxes
- Supplier Statement reconciliation
- Filing, scanning and ad hoc duties as required
Key Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Willingness to be flexible and assist the team when required
- Attention to detail
- Ability to interpret and apply company policy
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Genuine team player with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage, plan and prioritise workloads
- Confident, articulate and adept in obtaining/challenging information
- Good written and spoken communication skills
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of Accounts Payable
