About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic IT Services Apprentice to join our team at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. As an IT Services Apprentice, you will play a key role in providing technical support to our users across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users, analyzing and prioritizing issues in the IT Support Desk System.
  • Troubleshoot application faults by querying databases, checking log files, and repeating issues.
  • Take ownership of faults and manage them in a logical and methodical manner, following up on the status of issues on behalf of the user and communicating progress in a timely manner.
  • Create and disable user accounts and mailboxes, reset passwords, create groups, and assign permissions.
  • Contribute to new software rollout, hardware refresh, and network equipment upgrade.
  • Install and configure relevant software and hardware as appropriate, such as mobile apps, printers, projectors, scanners, and cameras.
Requirements
  • A demonstrable passion for IT and an interest in developing a career within this field.
  • GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) at grade A-C (9-4).
  • Excellent IT skills, preferably at GCSE level (or equivalent) or above.
  • You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject.
  • Must have been resident in the UK for 3 years.
