The Cambian Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Deputy Home Manager. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our young people.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide effective supervision and appraisal to care staff, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance to deliver high-quality care.
- Manage the care team, including rostering and deployment of staff, to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Communicate effectively with senior management, other stakeholders, and care staff to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
- Contribute to assessments and care planning, using your knowledge of the young people to inform decisions and ensure their needs are met.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process, helping to identify suitable candidates for care roles.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification in child/adult care/support.
- Knowledge of basic aspects of management practice, including principles of effective supervision and appraisal.
- Knowledge of learning disabilities and/or special needs, including recent developments.
- Ability to work a varied shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, and to attend work punctually and reliably.
