Deputy Home Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Talbot View, a state-of-the-art residential and dementia care home in Bournemouth, Dorset.

About the Role

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will assist the Home Manager in maintaining high standards of care practice and ensuring the smooth operation of the home. In the absence of the Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the home and its team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Home Manager in maintaining high standards of care practice
  • Provide managerial leadership support for the planning, development, and running of the home
  • Provide clarity and direction, supervision, and support in managing individuals
  • Ensure services enhance quality of life for people receiving care and support
Requirements
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Holder of a DBS on the update service or prepared to undertake one
  • Currently working at Care Team Leader level or above with experience within a residential home setting
