We are looking for a highly skilled Director of Computational Genomics to join our team at the Ellison Institute, LLC.

As the leader of our genome analytics efforts, you will be responsible for driving innovations in genomic tool development, ensuring high-quality scientific code integration into regulatory-compliant products, and collaborating with our EIT AI team to implement cutting-edge programs aligned with the Pathogen Mission.

This role demands strong project management skills, with a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. Key qualifications include:

  • A proven track record of developing innovative computational methods for population-scale genomic data, evidenced by academic publications or software contributions.
  • Expertise in quality control, manipulation, and analysis of large genomic datasets, with experience resolving data standardization challenges.
  • Leadership experience managing teams of scientific developers using best practices such as agile development, version control, and collaborative coding.
