We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to join our team at Kier Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of multi-site works within the Severn Trent Area.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in a similar role, working on major civils projects. They will have knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management, and costs including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting.

The role will involve ensuring the implementation of RAMS, ITPs, and permits on-site, in line with Company procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for procurement and planning of equipment and materials for site establishment and throughout the delivery of the scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of inductions, issuing of permits/forms, and daily briefings (including toolbox talks) and record keeping (e.g., site diaries and quality records).
  • Working alongside Operations Managers to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Requirements:

  • Proven background in a similar role, working on major civils projects.
  • Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management, and costs including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting.
  • CSCS Card.
