Job Overview

This Housekeeping Supervisor position is available at Stay Central Hotel, located in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hotel's standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently maintained.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the housekeeping team, ensuring that they have a comprehensive induction and regular ongoing training. You will also be responsible for trainings and motivating the team, ensuring that hygiene and safety standards are met at all times, and managing customer requests and complaints.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the hotel.
  • Manage the housekeeping team, including inductions, training, and performance reviews.
  • Train and motivate the housekeeping team to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain hygiene and safety standards within the hotel.
  • Handle customer requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Flexible availability for weekend work as needed.
