Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a child with autism in a Primary School setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEN and be able to provide individualized support to help the child engage with lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to the child in KS1
  • Work with the child to develop strategies to stay focused and engaged
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to ensure consistency and effective support
  • Be flexible and adaptable to meet the child's changing needs

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with autism
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
