**Job Description**

The Scientific Research Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the Conservation Physiology and Reproduction Research Programme at Chester Zoo. Key responsibilities include:

  • Organising sample shipments and maintaining accurate records
  • Catalouging and processing samples, ensuring quality control
  • Running assays and preparing buffers and reagents

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Evidence of laboratory experience, with proficiency in sample preparation and enzyme immunoassays
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver research projects on time and to a high standard
