Desktop Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our team at Vertex IT Solutions. As a Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for desktop equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing break fix on desktop equipment
  • Performing daily backup checks as required
  • Carrying out ad hoc tickets/non-ticketed/project work as and when required
  • Performing Active Directory tasks, including creating users, deleting users, and group policies

Requirements:

  • Valid SC Clearance
  • 2+ years of support experience
  • Solid Windows, Microsoft, AD, and Office 365 support
  • Able to work on site 4 days per week

About the Role:
