About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Bupa. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, ensuring the smooth operation of care services and maintaining high standards of care.
- Supporting with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record keeping.
- Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsible for all shift handovers of the teams.
- Helping with training and supervision of new staff members to ensure they feel welcomed and supported.
- Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses.
- Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties.
Requirements
- You will have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in care. We are happy to support you in the completion of your qualification if needed.
- You are motivated, positive, and have great interpersonal skills, with a passion for making a real difference to people's lives.
- You have previous experience of the role and knowledge of its rewards and challenges.
