About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build positive relationships with children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Establish effective communication methods to ensure the needs of each individual are met.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation, as required.
  • Support children and young people with activities of daily living, including education and leisure activities.
  • Collaborate with the on-shift team leader and management to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Accurately record and report work activities, maintaining high standards of documentation.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for providing person-centered care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels.
  • Experience working in the care sector, particularly with children and young people with Autism or Learning Disabilities, is desirable but not essential.
