Maths Tutor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Tutor to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd, a leading education recruitment company. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adult learners in a prison setting.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths Functional Skills training to learners up to Level 2.
  • Develop and review individual learning plans to ensure learners' needs are met.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive lesson plans to address learners' training needs.
  • Engage with learners and other stakeholders to gather feedback and improve curriculum content.
  • Work collaboratively with the education department to support learners' progression.

Requirements:

  • Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics.
  • A Degree or professional qualification relevant to the role.
  • A recognised Teaching Qualification.
  • Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
  • Excellent team working, communication, and interpersonal skills.
