Job Description

About the Role:

The Charity Fundraising Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's future by developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, focusing on diversification and sustainability of funding. This individual will lead a team to achieve exceptional outcomes for clients, aligned with the charity's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To set a new fundraising strategy, collaborating with other leaders to ensure its successful implementation.
  2. To oversee the execution of the fundraising strategy, including pipeline development and management, grant research, and relationship-building with donors.
  3. To work closely with the MD on marketing materials and website content, ensuring alignment with the charity's mission and goals.
  4. To supervise and delegate tasks as required, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Requirements:

  • A strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, able to craft compelling narratives and data-driven proposals.
  • Proven experience in fundraising, with a track record of securing grants and building relationships with donors.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

Salary: Approximately £42,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience), offering a competitive salary that reflects the location and industry standards.
