Philanthropy and Community Development Specialist

About the Role:
The Charity Fundraising Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's future by developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, focusing on diversification and sustainability of funding. This individual will lead a team to achieve exceptional outcomes for clients, aligned with the charity's vision and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- To set a new fundraising strategy, collaborating with other leaders to ensure its successful implementation.
- To oversee the execution of the fundraising strategy, including pipeline development and management, grant research, and relationship-building with donors.
- To work closely with the MD on marketing materials and website content, ensuring alignment with the charity's mission and goals.
- To supervise and delegate tasks as required, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
- A strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, able to craft compelling narratives and data-driven proposals.
- Proven experience in fundraising, with a track record of securing grants and building relationships with donors.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
