About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Community Development Officer and contribute to the growth and development of vibrant communities in Wantage and Grove.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver community-led learning sessions and workshops.
  • Manage and deliver consultations, projects, and events.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify community needs and priorities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working with communities with potentially conflicting demands.
  • Understanding of how to work effectively with community groups and individuals.
  • Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car with adequate insurance for use in the course of work.
What We Offer

This role offers a competitive salary of £42,576 - £48,530 per annum, plus benefits including 24 days annual leave, flexible working hours, and a generous career average pension scheme.
