Job Title: Personal Assistant - Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Personal Assistant to support a lively and active young boy with his daily needs. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a willingness to learn and adapt to the boy's unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to the boy, including assistance with daily living tasks and mobility.
  • Facilitate the boy's love for physical activity and the outdoors, including planning and participating in outings and adventures.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the boy, promoting his independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the boy's family and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to his care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with the boy, his family, and other professionals.
  • Physical stamina and ability to participate in outdoor activities with the boy.
  • Basic understanding of personal care and support principles.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and adapt to the boy's changing needs.
