About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Sales Director with a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing effective marketing strategies. As our Group Sales & Marketing Director, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our sales and marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a forward-thinking sales and marketing strategy, driving business growth and expansion.
- Sales & Marketing Mastery: Oversee all sales, marketing, and product management activities, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring our services meet their evolving needs.
- Performance Excellence: Monitor and present business performance, addressing risks and opportunities with proactive measures.
- Market Expansion: Manage and set objectives for sales agents in export territories, driving international growth.
- Innovative Marketing: Lead both trade and digital marketing efforts to elevate our brand presence.
- KPI and Budget Management: Establish KPIs and manage budgets, ensuring accurate monthly reporting and financial oversight.
- Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in a senior Sales Director role within a similar-sized organization.
- Sales Savvy: Demonstrated success in selling a diverse range of physical products, with keen commercial insight.
- Engaging Management: A track record of inspiring and leading teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Results-Driven: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with a solid understanding of ERP systems.
- Ready to Travel: A valid passport and driving license for travel.
We offer a competitive salary of £100k to £120k, plus up to 12% management bonus and up to £15k leadership bonus, as well as a range of benefits including a company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after five years), UK bank holidays, and more.
Location and travel will be based in Oxfordshire, with regular travel to Buckinghamshire, Birmingham, and North West Midlands, as well as occasional international travel.
