Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity for a Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographer to develop their skills and progress to a Band 6 position. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, providing imaging services to a diverse range of patient groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To participate in the department's preceptorship programme and transition to a Band 6 role upon successful completion.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments, including Trauma and Orthopaedic Radiography, General and Neurology inpatient and outpatient Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Theatres, and Interventional Radiology.
  • To adopt a patient-centred approach, ensuring high-quality care and excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • BSc or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Health and Care Professions Council registration.
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
  • NHS experience, with a focus on patient care and teamwork.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.
