Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Spa 23 Fitness and Lifestyle. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations, CT scans, and other diagnostic imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic examinations, CT scans, and other diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure high-quality images
  • Provide instruction and guidance to patients before and during examinations
  • Maintain competency in radiology and CT examinations
  • Conduct duties in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario and the Health Professionals Act

Qualifications

  • 3-year community college or undergraduate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario in Radiography or eligible for registration
  • Current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (or eligible for registration)
  • Working knowledge of the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario and the Health Professionals Act
  • Current CT experience and technical experience with Digital Radiography and Computed Radiography equipment
  • PACS experience and IV Certification course
  • Advanced computer skills and proven interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability in initiative, problem-solving, and accountability
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and work independently and co-operatively as part of a team
  • Positive advocate for professional body of Radiology and the Imaging Department
  • Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and call, and ability for multi-site coverage when required
  • Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records
  • Adherence to Spa 23 Fitness and Lifestyle's 'CARE' Behaviours and 'LEAD' Competencies
