Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Spa 23 Fitness and Lifestyle. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations, CT scans, and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic examinations, CT scans, and other diagnostic imaging procedures
- Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure high-quality images
- Provide instruction and guidance to patients before and during examinations
- Maintain competency in radiology and CT examinations
- Conduct duties in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario and the Health Professionals Act
Qualifications
- 3-year community college or undergraduate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario in Radiography or eligible for registration
- Current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (or eligible for registration)
- Working knowledge of the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario and the Health Professionals Act
- Current CT experience and technical experience with Digital Radiography and Computed Radiography equipment
- PACS experience and IV Certification course
- Advanced computer skills and proven interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability in initiative, problem-solving, and accountability
- Able to maintain confidentiality and work independently and co-operatively as part of a team
- Positive advocate for professional body of Radiology and the Imaging Department
- Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and call, and ability for multi-site coverage when required
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records
- Adherence to Spa 23 Fitness and Lifestyle's 'CARE' Behaviours and 'LEAD' Competencies
