Development Coordinator Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

    Assist in reviewing and coordinating design and technical aspects for planning applications, collaborating with the Design & Development Coordinators and Development Engineer.

    Perform consultant liaison tasks, including collecting and reviewing relevant plans and documents.

    Attend site visits and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

    Support administrative tasks, such as writing meeting minutes, printing plans, maintaining the materials sample library, and assisting in preparing schedules and programmes.

    Maintain internal filing systems, update planning records, and raise payment requests and purchase orders.

    Required driving licence and own transport, or an intention to drive within 1 year.

Requirements:

  • Consultant Liaison: Collaborate with consultants.
  • Site Visits & Meetings: Attend site visits and meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Administrative Support: Support departmental administration tasks, including:
    • Writing meeting minutes
    • Printing plans and documents
    • Maintaining the materials sample library
    • Assisting in preparing schedules and programmes
    • Reporting progress/updates internally
    • Keeping internal filing systems updated to ensure planning records are current
    • Raising payment requests and purchase orders
  • Driving licence and own transport (or an intention to drive within 1 year) as will be required to travel to sites within Hampshire

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred but not essential
  • Minimum of one year's experience in an associated field is desirable but not essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Detail-oriented with an awareness of deadlines
