Job Overview:
Vetisco is seeking a skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our Multidisciplinary Wards and Theatre team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to work in our busy, purpose-built practice.
About the Role:
This full-time position involves working on a rota of 40 hours per week, between 06:30 and 19:00, Monday to Friday, with 1:4 weekend shifts in wards where Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) is provided. Participation in the Bank Holiday rota is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients across all wards and disciplines
- Working closely with the theatre nursing team to ensure smooth surgical procedures
- Assisting with diagnostic procedures and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in ward rotations and contributing to a dynamic and supportive team environment
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in veterinary nursing or equivalent qualification
- Registered Veterinary Nurse status
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Possess a keen interest in both inpatient care and theatre-based nursing
